Yesterday, social media was abuzz with rumors that Jim Cramer, the host of CNBC’s “Mad Money,” expressed bullish sentiments towards Binance and was buying BNB tokens. Crypto enthusiasts couldn’t help but make light of the situation, given Cramer’s history of inaccurate predictions.

For instance, let’s not forget Cramer’s advice to invest in Silicon Valley Bank stocks in February, shortly before the bank’s collapse and the subsequent banking crisis in America.

However, a user named “Crypto Busy” clarified that the screenshot circulating online is from September 2022, where Cramer discusses Treasuries, not Binance. This information was also supported by Changpeng Zhao, who warned his followers not to trust a “photoshopped image.”

Cramer’s Missteps

Over the years, Jim Cramer has made several recommendations to sell bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, but these predictions have often missed the mark. In December of last year, Cramer advised investors to cash out their crypto holdings, claiming that digital assets were an “awful position.” However, since then, the price of bitcoin has increased by 50%.
