The highly anticipated Shiba Inu Metaverse project on Shibarium had its official beta launch on Saturday. During the recent South by Southwest festival, developers revealed a sneak peek of the WAGMI Temple Hub, the first of eleven hubs in the SHIB Metaverse. The developers showcased the immersive experience through an extended reality platform, providing users with an introduction to the Metaverse’s Zen-like realm of calming sensations, natural beauty, and spiritual connections.
A few members from the community who visited the booth at SXSW provided their experience. They shared clips showing picturesque scenery with high mountains and revealed that users do not need a VR headset to enter the Shiba Inu Metaverse. “Brandikono” also provided a glimpse of the mountain landscape, on top of which is hidden a temple. The mountains are connected by a massive suspension bridge.
The SHIB Metaverse offers participants the opportunity to acquire over 100,000 properties. Those who own land in the Metaverse can earn rewards, and the SHIB token is used to add images and logos to land plots. At press time, the SHIB price was at $0.00001060.
