OpenAI’s GPT is now enabling the creation of custom metaverse worlds through its ability to turn text into vivid and engaging virtual environments. With its advanced natural language processing capabilities, GPT is transforming the way developers and designers create immersive experiences that can be enjoyed by anyone. Whether it’s creating futuristic cities, elaborate fantasy worlds, or even simulating historical events, GPT is helping bring the metaverse to life with greater speed and accuracy. As the demand for immersive content continues to rise, GPT is giving creators the freedom to bring their ideas to life in ways that were previously unimaginable.
On the forefront of the recent headlines about artificial intelligence (AI) is OpenAI’s GPT technology that generates text and media with remarkable speed and accuracy. One particular Web3 metaverse app, Oncyber, has managed to harness the power of AI with its Magic Composer.
Magic Composer is an AI-powered tool that enables users of Oncyber’s 3D world-building platform to customize their environments via text commands. Running on OpenAI’s GPT-3.5 model, this tool empowers users to make real-time tweaks to their virtual world through text prompts. With the Magic Composer, users can change the look and color of the sky or the size and look of picture frames in the world.
Founder and CEO Rayan Boutaleb stated that Magic Composer is the first step towards a future iteration of the tool, where users can directly see the results of their imagination and even port their hallucinations or dreams onto a 3D canvas. The company is also planning to give users more generative features, such as the ability to generate bespoke or modified 3D architecture through requests.
The Magic Composer tool aims to cut through the complexity of the platform’s game-like engine and visual user interface, facilitating users’ creativity on the platform. Oncyber intends to roll out the AI tool initially to selected testers starting March 20, 2023, with a broader release coming soon after.
Oncyber differentiates itself from other metaverse gaming platforms like Decentraland and The Sandbox by not selling NFT land plots that are required to build on those worlds, but instead selling NFT-based templates. However, the platform offers free spaces and templates and doesn’t require an NFT or a crypto wallet to create a virtual space.
Oncyber’s goal is to have fewer limits for users over time, enabling more users to personalize their online 3D spaces. With more robust AI functionality on the horizon, the Magic Composer tool is just the beginning of Oncyber’s vision to revolutionize the metaverse experience.
